General Comments. ( Brief data summary and scan listing )
L band (18cm) VLBI experiment, observed on 2 March 2008. The data rate was 256Mbps (4 X 8 MHz subbands, dual polarization, two-bit sampling). The target source '3C274' (M 87) was calibrated using the calibrators '3C273', '3C279' and '3C286'. 'J1020+43' and 'J0928+44' were also observed as calibrators. '3C273' was the fringe finder. The solint was 7 minutes. Ef served as reference antenna. The plots show baselines to either Ef or Mc.
8 stations participated in the experiment: Cm, Jb1, Ef, Wb, On85, Mc, Nt, Tr. Tr reported that BBCs 8 and/or 7 unlocked frequently during the experiment. In addition, Tr experienced phase jumps throughout the observations. At Onsala, the antenna had to be stowed from 22:30 UTC until 05:30 UTC because of strong winds. Wb also reported high winds. Ef did not observe from the start of the experiment, because the source elevation was still too low, but was on source after 20:20 UTC.

The EVN reliability indicator (ERI) for this experiment was ERI = 0.79 . ERI* = 0.93 . (CM=1, JB=1, EF=1, WB=1, ON=1, MC=1, NT=1, TR=0.75)

Plots of the autocorrelations
Comments.
As to be expected at 18cm, low-to-mid-level RFI at several stations, in particular Mc/IF1,2,(4), Tr/IF2,(3), and Nt/IF4; Cm: signal constrained to upper half of IF2, IF3 and lower half of IF4, because of the bandwidth limitations of the microwave link (98 pages).

plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against time
Comments.
Cm: signal constrained to upper half of IF2, IF3 and lower half of IF4, because of the bandwidth limitations of the microwave link; On: stowed at 22:30 - 05:30; Tr: phase jumps in all channels and polarizations (32 pages).

Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against frequency channel
Comments.
Cm: signal constrained to upper half of IF2, IF3 and lower half of IF4, because of the bandwidth limitations of the microwave link; nothing unexpected detected (145 pages).

The uncalibrated amplitude and phase of the crosshand correlations against frequency channel
Comments.
Cm: signal constrained to upper half of IF2, IF3 and lower half of IF4, because of the bandwidth limitations of the microwave link; phases of the crosspols can be followed easily in scans of the polarized calibrators (96 pages).

TSYS against time
Comments.
Wb: T_sys jumpy at ~20:00 - 22:20 UT and at ~05:30 - 06:00 UT; On: broad spike in T_sys in IF3R at ~19:40, T_sys becomes noisy and increases shortly before antenna was stowed (7 pages).

Telescope sensitivities from the a priori TSYS and Gain curves (the square of this number gives the antenna noise (SEFD) in Jy - the smaller the better).
Comments.
nothing unexpected detected (7 pages).

Fringe-fit phase solutions (including Parallactic Angle correction).
Comments.
Ef: reference antenna, drift in phases reflects the parallactic angle correction; Tr: short periods of fast phase-rotation in IF1R, IF4R and IF4L (7 pages).

Fringe-fit delay solutions
Comments.
Ef: reference antenna; all delays close to zero, except for Cm/IF2 R+L and Cm/IF4 R+L (7 pages).

Fringe-fit rate solutions
Comments.
Ef: reference antenna; all rates close to zero, except for a few outliers in Tr/IF1R (7 pages).

Telescope bandpasses
Comments.
Cm: phases not well-behaved in IFs 2 and 4 (2 pages).

Calibrated amplitude and phase against time (a priori amplitude calibration and fringe-fit solutions applied).
Comments.
Wb: bad phases at ~3:30-3:40; Tr: phase jumps in all IFs throughout the experiment, at times bad phases in IF4/LL, IF1/RR; Nt: bad phases at ~6:30-6:40; Cm: bad phases at ~22:30-22:40, amplitudes and phases in IF2+4 (average over all channels) noisy (30 pages).

Calibrated amplitude and phase against frequency channel
Comments.
Cm: signal constrained to upper half of IF2, IF3 and lower half of IF4, bad phases at 22:20-22:30 UT (145 pages).
