The 'standard plots' for EB053A are as follows: eb053b-weight.ps station weight vs. time eb053b-auto-[1,2].ps station autocorrelation vs. freq eb053b-auto-maser-[source].ps station autocorrelation vs. freq eb053b-cross-[1,2].ps baseline amp/phs vs. freq eb053b-cross-maser-[source].ps baseline amp vs. freq eb053b-ampphase-{2}[a,p].ps Ef-* baseline amp/phs vs. time, The auto and cross plots show data from scans 122 [1] and 245 [2] (both on 3C454.3). The [maser] sets of plots show the maser emission for the two targets [source], from scans 183 and 185. The antenna numbering in these plots is 0-based -- thus one less than the corresponding antenna numbers in the AIPS FITS file. (a) WEIGHT plots The weight plot shows the station-weights for the duration of the experiment. The polarizations are color coded, with the key at the bottom of the page(s). A maximum of four IF/pol combinations are plotted (cross-pols are not plotted, since their weights can be deduced from the parallel hands). The first scan of the various sources is labeled with the source name in the upper portion of each subplot. Every integration is plotted. The weights are properly the fraction of 'good' data per integration period. Weights < ~1 result from less than optimal tape recording or playback. Weights of 0 occur when there are no valid data found on the media, or when synchronization fails. Gaps correspond either to scheduled tape pauses, or station recording or playback failures. (b) AUTOCORRELATION SPECTRA plots The plots show data from 2 minutes of the scans listed above. The polarization color-coding is RR=red, LL=blue. The [maser] sets of plots show the maser emission for the two targets [source] from two individual scans listed above, in a sub-set of the frequency points across the 2048-point band (to demonstrate proper correlation). (c) BASELINE SPECTRA plots The baseline vs. frequency plots show vector-averaged amplitude and phase for all baselines for the time ranges as the autocorrelation plots, with amp & phase going to separate plots using the same baseline lay-out on the page. The polarization color-coding remains RR=red, LL=blue. Data from the maser scan shows just amp vs. freq, over the same sub-set of frequency points as in the third autocorrelation plot. (d) AMP/PHASE(t) plots The baseline vs. time plots show amplitude and phase for all the observing scans on Ef-*, with amp & phase going to separate plots. Each 1s integration is plotted as a separate ".", with the middle 80% of the band used for vector-averaging over frequency.
