General Comments.
(
Brief data summary and
scan listing.)
This project consists of 4 telescopes: Mc, Cm, On, Mh (Ef, Nt did not participate, no fringe from Jb, Sh, Uh).
Only LCP was available in On.
Used 4-MHz 1 bands x 2 pols, with 2-bits sampling. Obtained 2 pairs of polarization (LL, RR) in 4-sec integration. 512 spectral channels per IF.
There are three passes: local frequences of 22236.61 MHz, 22233.39 MHz and 22233.56 MHz in 1st. 2nd and 3rd passes. This page is for the 2nd pass.
Mc is a reference antenna.
The detail in the whole project is described mainly in the pipeline report for the 1st pass.
Plots of the autocorrelations.
Comments.
Jb, On: Bright spurs.
Cm: Weak spurs.
Mh, Sh: Occasionally too high amplitude in the Rpol band edge.
Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against time.
Comments.
Fringes were detected only 3C345, not J2002. Phase wrap.
Mh: Data lost 10:40-12:20, 18:00-18:20, 19:00-19:30 in LL.
On: Data lost 10:50-11:00 in RR&LL.
Ur: Data lost 10:50-11:00, 16:30-17:00 in RR&LL.
Sh: Data lost 16:30-17:00, 16:00-20:00 in RR&LL.
Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against frequency
channel.
Comments.
Fringes were marginally detected among Mc-Cm-On-Mh with small phase gradients along frequency.
The uncalibrated amplitude and phase of the crosshand
correlations against frequency channel.
Comments.
No data.
TSYS against time.
Comments.
Only data for Mc, Cm, On, Mh, Ur and Sh are provided.
Cm: Tsys data are unavailable, set to Tsys=1.0 K.
Ur: High Tsys up to 450 K.
Sh: Data valid until 16:10.
Telescope sensitivities from the a priori TSYS and Gain
curves (the square of this number gives the antenna noise (SEFD) in Jy - the smaller the better).
Comments.
Mc: 160-200% of that in EVN status table.
Cm: Set to Gain=26.92.
On: About 200% of that in EVN status table.
Mh: Roughly consistent with that in EVN status table.
Ur: 100-200% of that in EVN status table.
Sh: Only 10% of that in EVN status table.
Jb: Not available.
Fringe-fit phase solutions.
Comments.
J2002 was not detected. Therefore only 3C345 solutions were applied. Solutions obtained only from Mc, Cm, On, Mh.
Mc: Solutions lost 16:50-19:00 in RR.
Cm: Solutions lost 12:20-14:20 in RR&LL.
Mh: Solutions lost 10:00-12:20 in LL.
Fringe-fit delay solutions.
Comments.
J2002 was not detected.
Mc: Delay offsets clost to zero nsec.
Cm: Delay offsets around 60 nsec.
Mh: Delay offsets around -20 nsec and 40 nsec in RR and LL, respectively.
On: Delay offsets around 20 nsec.
Fringe-fit rate solutions.
Comments.
Rate offsets within 5 mHz.
Telescope bandpasses.
Comments.
Smoothing is necessary.
Calibrated amplitude and phase against time
(a priori amplitude calibration and fringe-fit solutions applied).
Comments.
Fast phase drift disappeared, but phase wrap still remained.
Calibrated amplitude and phase against frequency channel.
Comments.
Phase offsets and gradients along frequency were well removed.
Phase corrections applied to a priori calibrated and fringe-fitted data by self-calibration.
Comments.
Naturally weighted dirty map produced before self-cal of:
3C345.
Comments.
3C345: Marginally detected over 3rd contour (1.0 Jy/beam). J2002: Not detected with an upper limit of 0.1 Jy/beam.
Uniformly weighted dirty map produced before self-cal of:
3C345.
Comments.
3C345: Marginally detected over 3rd contour (1.3 Jy/beam). J2002: Not detected with an upper limit of 0.24 Jy/beam.
Amplitude corrections applied to a priori calibrated and fringe-fitted data by self-calibration.
Also available as a text file.
Comments.
Unavailable because of only 3 valid antennas.
Telescope sensitivities (the total AMP gain applied during
both a priori and self calibration; the square of this number gives the antenna
noise (SEFD) in Jy).
Comments.
Unavailable because of no self-calibration amplitude/phase solution.
Residual closure phase (visibility closure phase with model closure phase subtracted) for:
3C345.
Comments.
3C345: Roughly zero closure phases.
Calibrated visibilities and the source model of:
3C345.
Comments.
Unavailable.
Calibrated visibilities against u,v distance for:
3C345. postscript , png (smaller)
Comments.
3C345: Roughly constant at 3 Jy.
u,v coverage for:
3C345
postscript, png (smaller)
Comments.
Sparse distribtution up to 150M lambda.
Crude map of 3C345 from the pipeline.
Comments.
An unresolved core and weak side lobes.
