General Comments.
(
Brief data summary and
scan listing.)
This project consists of 7 telescopes: Mc, On, Mh, Jb, Nt, Ro, Cm (Ef did not participate). No fringe from Cm.
Only LCP was available in On and Ro.
There are two passes: 1st of IF1 and 2nd for IFs 1-4. This page is for 2nd pass.
This pass consists of 5 telescopes: Mc, On, Mh, Jb, Nt.
Used 8-MHz 4 bands x 2 pols, with 2-bits sampling. Obtained 2 pairs of polarization (LL, RR) in 2-sec integration. 16 spectral channels per IF.
Mc is a reference antenna.
The data quality seem worse than that of 1st pass, because searched clock parameters were not applied in accident.
ERI=0.43 (Mc=1.00, On=0.50, Mh=0.65, Jb=0.00, Nt=1.00). ERI*=0.55 (Data quality loss due to incorrect correlation is taken into account).
Plots of the autocorrelations.
Comments.
Mc: Lower amplitudes in IF3 Lpol.
Mh: Occasionally abnormal amplitudes in all base band channels.
Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against time.
Comments.
Fringes were marginally detected, with phase wrap.
Mh: Data lost IF4 LL 08:10-10:00, 12:30-14:00, IF2 RR 08:10-10:00, 10:30-14:00, 18:00-22:00, IF4 RR 08:00-14:00, 17:00-19:00, 19:10-23:30.
Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against frequency
channel.
Comments.
Fringes were detected with large phase gradients along frequency.
The uncalibrated amplitude and phase of the crosshand
correlations against frequency channel.
Comments.
No data.
TSYS against time.
Comments.
Jb: Tsys up to 700 K in Rpol.
Telescope sensitivities from the a priori TSYS and Gain
curves (the square of this number gives the antenna noise (SEFD) in Jy - the smaller the better).
Comments.
see the pipeline report for the 1st pass.
Fringe-fit phase solutions.
Comments.
Mc(refefence): Phase slope due to parallactic angle correction.
Jb: Lost all solutions.
Fringe-fit delay solutions.
Comments.
Big delay offsets because searched clock parameters were not applied.
Fringe-fit rate solutions.
Comments.
Typically within 6 mHz.
Telescope bandpasses.
Comments.
Band edges have phase offsets of up to 10 degrees.
Calibrated amplitude and phase against time
(a priori amplitude calibration and fringe-fit solutions applied).
Comments.
Fast phase drift disappeared, sometimes phase wrap.
Calibrated amplitude and phase against frequency channel.
Comments.
Phase gradients along frequency were well removed. Occasionally phase offsets still remained.
Phase corrections applied to a priori calibrated and fringe-fitted data by self-calibration.
Comments.
Only LL plots are available. Solutions were well determined in 2 min.
Naturally weighted dirty map produced before self-cal of:
0212+735.
3C84.
NRAO150.
Comments.
0212+735: Detected above 3nd contour (0.68 Jy/beam).
3C84: Fringe pattern was found over 3rd contour (1.4 Jy/beam).
NRAO150: Detected above 3rd contour (4.5 Jy/beam).
Uniformly weighted dirty map produced before self-cal of:
0212+735.
3C84.
NRAO150.
Comments.
0212+735: Detected over 2nd contour (0.33 Jy/beam).
3C84: Fringe pattern was found over 3rd contour (1.1 Jy/beam).
NRAO150: Detected above 2nd contour (2.7 Jy/beam).
Amplitude corrections applied to a priori calibrated and fringe-fitted data by self-calibration.
Also available as a text file.
Comments.
Only LL plots are available. Gain correction factors within 1.5.
Telescope sensitivities (the total AMP gain applied during
both a priori and self calibration; the square of this number gives the antenna
noise (SEFD) in Jy).
Comments.
Mc: 100-250% of that in EVN status table.
On: About 230% of that in EVN status table.
Mh: 120-200% of that in EVN status table.
Jb: Lost plot.
Nt: 60-250% of that in EVN status table.
Residual closure phase (visibility closure phase with model closure phase subtracted) for:
0212+735.
3C84.
NRAO150.
Comments.
0212+735, 3C84: Roughly zero closure phases.
NRAO150: Systematic change in closure phases were seen within 20 degrees.
Calibrated visibilities and the source model of:
0212+735.
3C84.
NRAO150.
Comments.
0212+735, 3C84: Source models were roughly consistent with observad amplitudes and phases.
NRAO150: A source model is sometimes inconsistent with observed amplitudes.
