General Comments. ( Brief data summary and scan listing )
5 cm spectral line EVN experiment, observed on 30 October 2009. The data rate was 32 Mbps (2 x 0.5 MHz subbands, dual polarization, two-bit sampling, oversampled by a factor of 4). Only the first baseband was correlated, with cross-pols and 512 frequency points. The target source 'DR21(OH)N' was calibrated using the calibrators '3C286', '3C48', '3C84', 'J2007+4029' and 'J2202+4216'. '3C84' was selected as fringe finder.
9 EVN stations were scheduled in this experiment: Cm, Ef, Jb, Mc, Nt, On, Tr, Wb and Ys. Instead of Cm, the telescope at Darnhall was used. Since the number of scheduled stations exceeded the maximum number of stations allowed in the correlation, Da was only included when one of the other stations was out. At Jb, the MkII telescope was used. Mc reported a maser problem sometime between 12 UT and 14 UT, which may have led to a loss of the phase lock. The postcorrelation analysis shows no evidence for this in the data, though. Tr lost scans #1-5 (35 min) due to a mistake by the operator. Wb was used in phased-array mode with only one dish (RT 7) in the array and with 0.625 MHz filters. More details about the observations and the data can be found in the letter to the P.I. which is also available from the archive (section "Standardplots").
This pipeline reduction used AIPS version 31DEC09 including patches up to 07 April 2010. Ef served as reference antenna and as plot reference, i.e. except for the autocorrelations, the plots show baselines to Ef.

The EVN reliability indicator (ERI) for this experiment was ERI = 0.99 . ERI* = 0.99 . (Da=1, Ef=1, Jb=1, Mc=1, Nt=1, On=1, Tr=0.95, Wb=1, Ys=1)

Plots of the autocorrelations
Comments.
bandpasses look stable; a few very narrow spikes of low-level RFI (Da, Jb, Wb); 124 pages

plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against time
Comments.
phases of the calibrator sources can be followed even in the uncalibrated data; 4 pages

Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against frequency channel
Comments.
phases can be followed in the calibrator sources, except for 3C48 and for Da in the first few scans; 124 pages

The uncalibrated amplitude and phase of the crosshand correlations against frequency channel
Comments.
phases of J2202+42 and 3C84 can be followed on sensitive baselines even in the uncalibrated data, except for Ys in the last scan; 62 pages

TSYS against time
Comments.
Wb: no T_sys values between ~12 UT and ~18 UT; 2 pages

Telescope sensitivities from the a priori TSYS and Gain curves (the square of this number gives the antenna noise (SEFD) in Jy - the smaller the better).
Comments.
except for Jb and Wb, curves match closely those of T_sys vs. time; 2 pages

Fringe-fit phase solutions (including Parallactic Angle correction).
Comments.
reference antenna: Ef, drift in phases reflects the parallactic angle correction; almost only solutions for the calibrator sources found by the pipeline; 2 pages

Fringe-fit delay solutions
Comments.
reference antenna: Ef; except for Ys and times on the target source, delays of the order of a few tens of nanoseconds; 2 pages

Fringe-fit rate solutions
Comments.
reference antenna: Ef; except for times on the target source, rates of the order of a few mHz; a few outliers; 2 pages

Telescope bandpasses
Comments.
reference antenna: Ef; bandpasses look good; phases flat and close to zero except for the edges of the bandpasses of Da, Nt and Tr; 2 pages

Calibrated amplitude and phase against time (a priori amplitude calibration and fringe-fit solutions applied).
Comments.
phases of calibrator sources close to zero; amplitudes look reasonable; after fringe fitting, almost only the calibrator sources remain; 4 pages

Calibrated amplitude and phase against frequency channel
Comments.
phases of the calibrators close to zero (except for 3C48); 82 pages
