General Comments. ( Brief data summary and scan listing )
C-band NME observed on 20 May 2004 (session 2/2004). This experiment was recorded at 256 Mbps using 2-bit sampling which resulted in 32 MHz bandwidth in each polarization. Van-Vleck correction was not applied to the data.

Shanghai and Torun observed on tape, all others on disk. In Cm there were fringes only in channels L2-3 and R2-3 due to the microwave link limitations. Sh had no RCP receiver. Ur could not join the experiment (and most of the session session) due to a receiver upgrade. In Jb the MarkII telescope was used.

There were five sources, two-two were observed in phase-reference mode: 3C273B - 1222+037 (1.8 deg. separation), and 3C345 - 1633+382 (2.3 deg. separation). The reference-target cycle time was 6.5 minutes.

The ratio of the expected to the observed number of good visibilities is estimated as ERI=ERI*=1.0 (Ef=1.0, Mc=1.0, Jb=1.0, Wb=1.0, On=1.0, Nt=1.0, Sh=0.5/0.5 (only LCP expected; ~20 minutes gap on VPLOT due to sources below horizon), Hh=1.0, Tr=1.0, Cm=0.5/0.5 (only ~14 MHz/polarization)).

Sources were clearly detected on all baselines. Apparent amplitude variation is due to source switching.

Apparent quick changes in Tsys was due to quick switching between very bright targets.


Telescope sensitivities from the a priori TSYS and Gain curves (the square of this number gives the antenna noise (SEFD) in Jy - the smaller the better).

Corrections are in general small. Onsala has some high corrections (up to a factor of 2 in Tsys).
