The K-band NME and FTP test N08K4, observed on 03 November 2008, consists of three parts: The first part consists of the regular NME at 22GHz with a setup similar to the following user experiment EB037E. The last 1.5 hours of this schedule were dedicated to tests of the new VLBA 24GHz continuum setup (part 2) and an NH3 spectral line setup (part 3). Part 1: n08k4_1_1.IDI1 ------- Part 1 consists of long integrations on the strong calibrator 3C454.3 and a few other strong sources as well as several ftp-fringe tests and a test of fast phase-referencing. In addition to the ftp fringe-tests on the usual VLBA fringe finders 3C345 and 3C454.3, ftp fringe-tests are scheduled on sources from the RRFID catalog that are strong at long baselines (2251+158=3C454.3, 0202+319) and on the H2O maser sources U Her and R Cas. Part 2+3: n08k4_2_1.IDI1, n08k4_3_1.IDI[1:2] --------- In parts 2 and 3, we check the continuum performance of those stations that can observe at the new VBLA 24GHz continuum band and reach the ammonia lines at 23.5-24GHz. As a test of the spectral line setup, the position of a known NH3(3,3) maser source in W51 (Zhang & Ho 1991, ApJ 373, L13) is observed in part 3. The correlation parameters were: Part 1: 9 Tels, 4 band X 4 pols, each with 16 points, 2 sec int. Part 2: 6 Tels, 4 band X 4 pols, each with 16 points, 2 sec int. Part 3: 6 Tels, 4 band X 2 pols, each with 256 points, 1/2 sec int.
