General Comments. ( Brief data summary and scan listing )
C band (5 cm) network monitoring experiment (NME) observed on 01 March 2011. The data rate was 512 Mbps (8 x 8 MHz subbands, dual polarization, two-bit sampling). The experiment included long scans on the calibrator sources '0234+285', '3C454.3', 'DA193' and 'J2007+4029' and phase-referencing parts with 'J0258+2900' and the maser 'W75A' as the targets and '0234+285' and 'J2007+4029' as the phase-reference sources. In this pipeline reduction, Ef, Ys and On served as reference antennas and Ef was the plot reference, i.e. baselines to Ef are plotted. The pipeline used the frozen AIPS version 31DEC10, except for the task BPASS (31DEC09), and a solution interval of 1 min.
10 stations participated in the experiment: Kn (as a replacement for Cm), Ef, Hh, Jb, Mc, On, Sh, Tr, Wb, and Ys. There were fringes to all stations in all channels, except for IF1+2/RCP of Mc (see NME report for details). The problem at Mc was du to VC#02 not getting locked. The data of Kn transmitted via the microwave link are in IF5 and parts of IF4 and IF6. In order to properly calibrate the latter IFs, the channels without valid data in IF4 and IF6 have been flagged. IF1-3 and IF7-8 of Kn have been flagged as well. The S/N in all baselines to Kn is very low, because the setup at Kn was already optimized for the following user experiments.

The EVN reliability indicator (ERI) for this experiment was ERI = 0.87 . ERI* = 0.87 . (Cm=0.5, Ef=1, Hh=1, Jb=1, Mc=0.88, On=1, Sh=1, Tr=1, Wb=1, Ys=1)

Plots of the autocorrelations
Comments.
bandpasses seem to be stable; Kn: IF1-3, IF7-8 and parts of IF4 and IF6 flagged (no signal); Ef: in a few scans, RFI in IF5/R+L; 86 pages

plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against time
Comments.
in general, phases of the calibrators can be followed easily; reasonable amplitudes; Kn: low amplitudes, noisy phases; Mc: IF1+2/RCP bad because of locking problem of VC#02; Hh: sources not up at 13:00 - 14:00 UT; Sh: sources not up at 12:35 - 12:55 UT and 13:30 - 14:00 UT; 38 pages

Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against frequency channel
Comments.
except for the issues already mentioned, bandpasses seem to be stable; even uncalibrated, phases of the calibrator sources can easily be followed on all baselines; maser line of W75A detected in IF5 on all baselines; 66 pages

The uncalibrated amplitude and phase of the crosshand correlations against frequency channel
Comments.
looking good; for the calibrator sources, even the uncalibrated phases can easily be followed on all baselines; 33 pages

TSYS against time
Comments.
Kn, Jb: no information on Tsys available; Mc: noisy T_sys values during the phase-referencing parts in IF1-6; Sh: a number of outliers in IF1-4; 16 pages

Telescope sensitivities from the a priori TSYS and Gain curves (the square of this number gives the antenna noise (SEFD) in Jy - the smaller the better).
Comments.
mimic curves of Tsys; 16 pages

Fringe-fit phase solutions (including Parallactic Angle correction).
Comments.
refant = Ef, slow drift in phases reflects the parallactic angle correction; Kn: in IF4+6, solutions almost only found for J2007+4029; Tr: fast phase rotation; 15 pages

Fringe-fit delay solutions
Comments.
refant = Ef; delays of the order of (a few tens of) nanoseconds; Kn: large delays in IF4+6; 15 pages

Fringe-fit rate solutions
Comments.
refant = Ef; rates of the order of mHz: a few outliers at Wb; 15 pages

Telescope bandpasses
Comments.
refant = Ef; in general, amplitudes close to 1.0 and phases close to zero, except at the edges of the bandpasses at Kn, Wb, Tr, Ys and Sh; 3 pages

Calibrated amplitude and phase against time (a priori amplitude calibration and fringe-fit solutions applied).
Comments.
except for a few glitches at individual stations, generally stable amplitudes and phases; phases of the calibrators aligned close to zero; Hh: jump in amplitude at ~ 12:45 UT in all LCP channels; Mc: kink in amplitude at ~12:45 UT in IF5+6/LCP only; 38 pages

Calibrated amplitude and phase against frequency channel
Comments.
in general, amplitudes look ok; at times, small residual offset in amplitude in some subbands at some stations, e.g. Jb/IF3+4/LCP, Mc/IF3+4/RCP, Tr/IF7/LCP and Sh/IF3/RCP; phases close to zero for the calibrators; Gibbs ringing visible in the phases on Ef-Wb, Ef-Tr and Ef-Ys baselines; 66 pages
