General Comments.
(
Brief data summary and
scan listing.)
This project consists of 4 telescopes: Mc, Cm, On, Mh (Ef, Nt did not participate, no fringe from Jb, Sh, Uh).
Only LCP was available in On.
Used 4-MHz 1 bands x 2 pols, with 2-bits sampling. Obtained 2 pairs of polarization (LL, RR) in 4-sec integration. 512 spectral channels per IF.
There are three passes: local frequences of 22236.61 MHz, 22233.39 MHz and 22233.56 MHz in 1st. 2nd and 3rd passes. This page is for the 3rd pass.
Mc is a reference antenna.
The detail in the whole project is described mainly in the pipeline report for the 1st pass.
Plots of the autocorrelations.
Comments.
Jb, On: Bright spurs.
Cm: Weak spurs.
Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against time.
Comments.
Fringes were detected 4C39.25.
Jb: Data lost 21:05-21:16 in RR&LL.
CM: Data lost 21:05-21:09 in RR&LL.
Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against frequency
channel.
Comments.
Fringes were marginally detected among Mc-Cm-On-Mh with large phase gradients along frequency.
The uncalibrated amplitude and phase of the crosshand
correlations against frequency channel.
Comments.
No data.
TSYS against time.
Comments.
Only data for Mc, Cm, On, Mh, Ur and Sh are provided.
Cm: Tsys data are unavailable, set to Tsys=1.0 K.
Telescope sensitivities from the a priori TSYS and Gain
curves (the square of this number gives the antenna noise (SEFD) in Jy - the smaller the better).
Comments.
Mc: 150-300% of that in EVN status table.
Cm: Set to Gain=26.92.
On: About 220% of that in EVN status table.
Mh: Roughly consistent with that in EVN status table.
Fringe-fit phase solutions.
Comments.
Solutions obtained only from Mc, Cm, On, Mh.
Fringe-fit delay solutions.
Comments.
Cm: Delay offsets around 35 nsec and 70 nsec in RR and LL, respectively.
Mh: Delay offsets around -23 nsec and 30 nsec in RR and LL, respectively.
On: Delay offsets around 20 nsec.
Fringe-fit rate solutions.
Comments.
Cm: Rate offsets around -10 mHz.
On: Rate offsets around -10 mHz.
Mh: Rate offsets within 5 mHz.
Telescope bandpasses.
Comments.
Smoothing is necessary.
Calibrated amplitude and phase against time
(a priori amplitude calibration and fringe-fit solutions applied).
Comments.
Fast phase drift disappeared, but phase wrap still remained.
Calibrated amplitude and phase against frequency channel.
Comments.
Phase offsets and gradients along frequency were well removed.
Phase corrections applied to a priori calibrated and fringe-fitted data by self-calibration.
Comments.
Naturally weighted dirty map produced before self-cal of:
4C39.25.
Comments.
4C39.25: Only fringe pattern was found over 3rd contour (0.9 Jy/beam).
Uniformly weighted dirty map produced before self-cal of:
4C39.25.
Comments.
4C39.25: Only fringe pattern was found over 3rd contour (1.0 Jy/beam).
Amplitude corrections applied to a priori calibrated and fringe-fitted data by self-calibration.
Also available as a text file.
Comments.
Unavailable because of only 3 valid antennas.
Telescope sensitivities (the total AMP gain applied during
both a priori and self calibration; the square of this number gives the antenna
noise (SEFD) in Jy).
Comments.
Unavailable because of no self-calibration amplitude/phase solution.
Residual closure phase (visibility closure phase with model closure phase subtracted) for:
4C39.25.
Comments.
4C39.25: Closure phase drifts are found.
Calibrated visibilities and the source model of:
4C39.25.
Comments.
Unavailable.
Calibrated visibilities against u,v distance for:
4C39.25. postscript , png (smaller)
Comments.
4C39.25: Up to 70 Jy at 20M lambda, abut 20 Jy at 82M lambda.
u,v coverage for:
4C39.25
postscript, png (smaller)
Comments.
Sparse distribtution up to 80M lambda.
Crude map of 4C39.25 from the pipeline.
Comments.
One true and one dummy (at the map edge) unresolved components.
