General Comments. ( Brief data summary and scan listing )
L band (18 cm) continuum EVN experiment, observed on 7 November 2010. The data rate was 1024 Mbps (8 x 16 MHz subbands, dual polarization, two-bit sampling). The target sources '1549', '1610', '1657', '2212', and '0120' were calibrated using the phase-reference sources 'J1604+1926', 'J1605+3001', 'J1708+3346', 'J2218+1520', and 'J0123+3044'. '3C345' and '3C454.3' were also observed as calibrators and fringe finders. In this pipeline reduction, Wb, Ef, and Mc served as reference antennas and Wb as plot reference, i.e. the plots show baselines to Wb. The pipeline used the fully patched AIPS version 31DEC09 and a solution interval of 1.44 min.
8 stations participated in the experiment: Bd, Ef, Jb, On, Mc, Sv, Tr, and Wb. Note that Zc was also scheduled, but did not observe. Bandpass limitations at Mc led to a drop-off in subband 0 (and parts of subbands 1+7), thus subband 0 was almost entirely flagged, and subband 7 may be less sensitive than the other channels. Tr reported that the field system hung at 07:35-08:00 UT. The LCP channels of subband 6+7 have very low baseline amplitudes and noisy phases. Sv had to change the recording disk pack at 09:05 UT. Unfortunately, the replacement disk pack did not work properly, so that all data after 09:05 UT are lost. More details about the observations can be found in the letter to the P.I. which is also available from the archive (section "Standard plots").

The EVN reliability indicator (ERI) for this experiment was ERI = 0.59 . ERI* = 0.59 . (Bd=1, Ef=1, Jb=1, On=1, Mc=1, Sv=0.14, Tr=0.88, Wb=1, Zc=0)

Plots of the autocorrelations
Comments.
in general, bandpasses seem to be stable; Ef, Jb, Mc: steep slope in amplitude in uncalibrated data of IF8; Mc: IF1 (= subband 0) bad data or flagged (see general comments); low-level RFI at several stations, especially in On/IF6, Mc/IF2, Bd/IF1; 567 pages

plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against time
Comments.
in general, phases of the fringe finders can be followed easily; amplitudes look reasonable; Mc: IF1 (= subband 0) bad data or flagged (see general comments); Bd: sources at times below minimum elevation, especially in the second half of the experiment; 32 pages

Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against frequency channel
Comments.
even uncalibrated, phases of the fringe finders and the phase-reference sources can easily be followed on all baselines; except for a few RFI spikes Mc: IF1 (= subband 0) bad data or flagged (see general comments); Tr: phases instable and low amplitudes in IF7+8/LCP; 551 pages

The uncalibrated amplitude and phase of the crosshand correlations against frequency channel (not available)
Comments.

TSYS against time
Comments.
apart from a few spikes and outliers in individual channels and Mc/IF1+2, T_sys values look reasonable; Mc: very high values of T_sys in IF1+2/R+L; Mc: high values of T_sys in IF9/RCP; Sv, Bd: T_sys values not recorded; 13 pages

Telescope sensitivities from the a priori TSYS and Gain curves (the square of this number gives the antenna noise (SEFD) in Jy - the smaller the better).
Comments.
values look reasonable; curves mimic curves of Tsys; 13 pages

Fringe-fit phase solutions (including Parallactic Angle correction).
Comments.
refant = Wb; fringe rates rather fast in the beginning, but still reasonable; a few glitches in individual channels; Mc: no solutions for IF1/R+L; Tr: no solutions for IF7+8/R+L; 13 pages

Fringe-fit delay solutions
Comments.
refant = Wb; delays of the order of (a few tens of) nanoseconds; a few huge outliers; 13 pages

Fringe-fit rate solutions
Comments.
refant = Wb; rates of the order of a few mHz; very few outliers; 13 pages

Telescope bandpasses
Comments.
refant = Wb; '3C345' and '3C454.3' used as bandpass calibrators; in general, amplitudes close to 1.0 and phases close to zero, except at the edges of the bandpasses; Sv: no solutions, because recording stopped before the first fringe finder scan; 2 pages

Calibrated amplitude and phase against time (a priori amplitude calibration and fringe-fit solutions applied).
Comments.
phases aligned to zero for the fringe finders and phase-reference sources; amplitudes seem to be stable; Mc: no solutions for IF1/R+L; Tr: no solutions for IF7+8/R+L; Sv: no solutions at all; 32 pages

Calibrated amplitude and phase against frequency channel
Comments.
phases of the fringe finders and phase-reference sources look ok; some residual differences in amplitude; 551 pages
