General Comments.
(
Brief data summary and
scan listing.)
This project consists of 6 stations: Wb, Mc, Eb, Mc, Jb, Tr, Ro (On did not observe). Used 8-MHz 4 bands x 2 Pols. with 2-bits sampling. 16 spectral channels per IF. Ef is a reference antenna.
Ro participated during 16:30-21:41. Only Lpol is available.
On and Cm did not observed due to troubles in recording data.
Due to antenna slewing time, small parts of data were flagged.
ERI=0.38 (Wb=0.95, Mc=0.94, Eb=0.92, Jb=0.95, Tr=0.87, Ro=0.15, Cm=0.00, On=0.00, N(telescopes available)=7.40) ERI*=0.38 (artificial error only; when excluding Cm and On, ERI*=0.76).
Plots of the autocorrelations.
Comments.
Wb: Spurs at centers of band.
Mc: Spurs at centers of IF2 R&Lpol.
Jb: Occasionally spurs in IF2&4 R&Lpol.
Tr: Low amplitude in IF4 Rpol.
Ro: Spurs in IF4.
Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against time.
Comments.
Calibrators and phase-referenced source are well detected.
Mc: fast phase variation 14:20-14:30.
Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against frequency
channel.
Comments.
Calibrators and phase-referenced source are well detected.
Wb: Occasionally spurs in IF1&2 RR&LL.
Mc: Sometimes spurs in IF3 RR&LL.
The uncalibrated amplitude and phase of the crosshand
correlations against frequency channel.
Comments.
No data.
TSYS against time.
Comments.
Jb: sparse data points.
Tr: Time variation with steps in IF4 due to editting data.
Ro: Sparse data points. First one data point of each time segmet (~10 min), where Tsys value jumps, is removed.
Telescope sensitivities from the a priori TSYS and Gain
curves (the square of this number gives the antenna noise (SEFD) in Jy - the smaller the better).
Comments.
Wb: About 130% of that in EVN status table.
Mc: About 130% of that in EVN status table. Gain jumps occur 16:30-21:30.
Ef: About 130% of that in EVN status table.
Jb: About 160% of that in EVN status table.
Tr: About 140% of that in EVN status table.
Ro: About 60% of that in EVN status table.
Fringe-fit phase solutions.
Comments.
Solutions with rapid phase dirifts.
Fringe-fit delay solutions.
Comments.
Wb: Offsets of -5 - 18 nsec in average in each IF/Pol.
Mc: Offsets of 0 - 18 nsec in average in each IF/Pol.
Jb: Offsets within 10 nsec. IF4 RR lost.
Tr: Offsets 5 - 15 nsec in average in each IF.
Fringe-fit rate solutions.
Comments.
Rates are within 5 mHz.
Telescope bandpasses.
Comments.
Amplitude & Phase characteristics well determined.
Tr: IF4 RR lost.
Calibrated amplitude and phase against time
(a priori amplitude calibration and fringe-fit solutions applied).
Comments.
Phase wrap still appears sometimes.
Calibrated amplitude and phase against frequency channel.
Comments.
Banspass is well calibrated. Spurs are flagged out. Phase offsets still remain.
Phase corrections applied to a priori calibrated and fringe-fitted data by self-calibration.
Comments.
Amplitude corrections applied to a priori calibrated and fringe-fitted data by self-calibration.
Also available as a text file.
Comments.
Gain correction factores are usually less than 2.
Wb: Sometimes correction factors exceed 2.5.
Ro: Correction factors up to 4 in later scans.
Telescope sensitivities (the total AMP gain applied during
both a priori and self calibration; the square of this number gives the antenna
noise (SEFD) in Jy).
Comments.
Wb: 180%-200% of that in EVN status table.
Mc: About 130% of that in EVN status table. Gain jumps occur 16:30-21:30.
Ef: 130%-190% of that in EVN status table.
Jb: 170%-240% of that in EVN status table.
Tr: About 280% of that in EVN status table.
Ro: 60%-250% of that in EVN status table.
