General Comments.
(
Brief data summary and
scan listing.)
This project consists of 5 telescopes: Wb, Mc, Eb, Jb, Tr (Cm did not observe due to the recorder problem. On did not observe.)
Used 8-MHz 2 bands x 2 pols, with 2-bits sampling. Obtained 2 pairs of polarization (LL, RR). 512 spectral channels per IF. Eb is a reference antenna.
ERI=0.36 (Wb=0.96, Mc=0.67, Eb=0.97, Jb=0.30, Tr=0.92, Cm=0.00, On was excluded.) ERI*=0.54 (HA limit of Wb and strong winds at Jb were taken into account. If excluding On as well, ERI*=0.81).
Plots of the autocorrelations.
Comments.
Wb, Mc, Jb, Tr : Bright and weak spurs in IF1&2 R&Lpols.
Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against time.
Comments.
Fringe finders and a phase-reference source were well detected with rapid phase variation.
Eb (all telescopes): No fringe was found during 23:30-20:06.
Jb: No data during 23:30-07:40 because it did not observe the sources.
Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against frequency
channel.
Comments.
Fringe finders were well detected in each of scans with small phase gradients along frequency.
A phase-reference source was marginally detected in each of scans.
The uncalibrated amplitude and phase of the crosshand
correlations against frequency channel.
Comments.
No data.
TSYS against time.
Comments.
Wb: High Tsys during 00:00-00:10.
Jb: High Tsys at 22:40.
Tr: High Tsys at 08:20.
Telescope sensitivities from the a priori TSYS and Gain
curves (the square of this number gives the antenna noise (SEFD) in Jy - the smaller the better).
Comments.
Wb: About 130% of that in EVN status table.
Mc, Eb, Jb: Roughly consistent with that in EVN status table.
Tr: About 80% of that in EVN status table.
Fringe-fit phase solutions.
Comments.
Solutions well determined with systematic phase variation.
Eb (reference): Gradual phase slope coming from PA calibration. Solutions lost 23:40-24:00.
Mc: Occasionally solutions lost in 1/3 of the whole observation.
Tr: Solutions were lost uding 23:30-00:10.
Fringe-fit delay solutions.
Comments.
Wb. Offsets of about 20 nsec and 0 nsec in average in RR and LL, respectively.
Mc, Tr: Systematically offset varied by 30 nsec.
Jb: Offsets varying within 30 nsec in the beginning of the whole observation. Offset of about 20 nsec in average at the end of the whole observation.
Fringe-fit rate solutions.
Comments.
Rate offsets less than 5 mHz.
Wb: Tr: Rate offset wrap at the end of the whole observation.
Telescope bandpasses.
Comments.
Bandpass amplitudes and phases were well determined.
Calibrated amplitude and phase against time
(a priori amplitude calibration and fringe-fit solutions applied).
Comments.
Large phase drifts were well reduced. Sometimes phase wrap still remains.
Mc: Phase wrap in IF4 RR during 04:30-08:30, 10:30-11:00.
Ur: Phase wrap.
Calibrated amplitude and phase against frequency channel.
Comments.
Phase gradient along frequency and phase offsets were well removed.
Eb(all telescopes): Data lost during 23:30-24:00.
Mc: Occasionally data lost or phase wrap.
Tr: Phase wrap at the end of the whole observation.
Phase corrections applied to a priori calibrated and fringe-fitted data by self-calibration.
Comments.
Phase solution well determind in each scan.
Mc: Occasionally phase wrap.

J1509+0545.
Comments.
3C286: Only fringe pattern above 2nd contour (5.6 Jy/beam) due to poor u-v coverage.
OQ208: Appears over 3rd contour (0.71 Jy/beam).
3C345: Only fringe pattern above 2nd contour (3.7 Jy/beam) due to poor u-v coverage.

1739+522.
J1509+0545.
Comments.
3C286: Only fringe pattern above 2nd contour (5.2 Jy/beam) due to poor u-v coverage.
OQ208: Appears over 3rd contour (0.66 Jy/beam).
3C345: Marginally detected above 2nd contour (4.1 Jy/beam).
1739+522: Appears over 3rd contour (0.41 Jy/beam).

Amplitude corrections applied to a priori calibrated and fringe-fitted data by self-calibration.
Also available as a text file.
Comments.
Usually gain correction factors smaller than 2.0.
Telescope sensitivities (the total AMP gain applied during
both a priori and self calibration; the square of this number gives the antenna
noise (SEFD) in Jy).
Comments.

Mc: Difficult to evaluate because of too high values contaminating. Roughly consistent with that in EVN status table.
Eb: Roughly consistent with that in EVN status table.
Jb: Impossible to evaluate because of too high values contaminating. Tr: About 80% of that in EVN status table.
