L-band 1 Gbps user experiment with the western EVN including Robledo (obs. 27 Oct. 2005, session 3/2005). The target was phase-referenced to M81.
Noto could not participate in the session because of an antenna problem. Westerbork and Robledo had trouble with 1 Gbps recording. Onsala had to stop observing at 07:40 UT due to high wind speeds. Medicina was not tracking the sources due to an error in Antenna Control Unit configuration till day 1, 0:30 UT. Also in Medicina half of the band was not available because of the very bad RFI situation (filtered out). Effelsberg was OK most of the time (ignore feedback on formatter errors!). In Cambridge the VLBA rack power supply failed. In Torun, BBC#5 failed.
The EVN reliability indicator (ERI) for this experiment was
ERI = 0.25 . ERI* = 0.34 .
(Ef=0.98, Wb=0.5, Cm=0.0, Jb1=1.0, On=0.75/*1.0, Mc=0.43/*0.87, Nt=0.0, Tr=0.88, Ro=0.25)
