General Comments.
This project consists of 8 stations, 8MHz 2 bands x 2 Pols. Ef is a reference antenna.
Severe RIFs contaminated except Ef IF1 and Jb IF1. Tsys data unavailable in Cm.
Totally 4 calibrators were pipelined.
Pipeline script was updated for the sensitivity plot and more spectral channels.
Two FITS files were connected before the pipeliing.
ERI=0.64 (Ef=1.00, Wb=1.00, On=0.70, Mc=1.00, Jb=1.00, Tr=1.00, Cm=0.48, Ur=0.80)
ERI*=0.64 (artificial errors only).
Plots of the autocorrelations.
Comments.
Ef: An RIF at band center in IF2. Wb, On, Jb, Ur: RIFs at band centers.
Tr: Varied RIFs and the amplitude profiles several times.
Cm: Cannot know the amplitude profiles due to too large amplitude scale.
Mc: a wide RIF in IF1.
Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against time.
Comments.
Good S/N ratios.
On: Data missing 00:10-00:50, phase wrap IF2 Rpol.
Ur: Data missing 16:30-17:40, 19:10-19:50, 00:30-02:20, 02:40-04:00.
Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against frequency
channel.
Comments.
Cm: Phase wrap and large phase gradient IF1 Lpol.
On, Ur: Sometimes phase wrap due to poor S/N ratios.
The uncalibrated amplitude and phase of the crosshand
correlations against frequency channel.
Comments.
No data.
TSYS against time.
Comments.
Jb: a small number of plot points.
Cm: Data unavailable (Tsys set to 1K, instead Gain was set proximately).
Telescope sensitivities from the a priori TSYS and Gain
curves (the square of this number gives the antenna noise (SEFD) in Jy - the smaller the better).
Comments.
Ef, Mc, Ur: agrees with the status table.
Wb, Tr: 80 % of those in the status table.
On: Only 11% of those in the status table.
Jb: 160 % of those in the status table.
Mc: 150 % of those in the status table.
Cm: Artificially set to being consistent with those in the status table.
Fringe-fit phase solutions.
Comments.
On: Lost most of data in IF2 Rpol.
Jb, Cm: A small number of solution points.
Fringe-fit delay solutions.
Comments.
Ef (all antennas): big offsets 20:40-20:50.
On: Lost most of data in IF2 Rpol.
Cm: Big offsets (>200 nsec) in Lpols.
Ur: Big offsets (~10 microsec) IF2 Rpol 04:00, usually > 20 nsec.
Fringe-fit rate solutions.
Comments.
Small rate residuals within 10 mHz.
Telescope bandpasses.
Comments.
Cm: Failed to obtain the solutions in IF1.
On: Failed to obtain the solutions at band edges in IF2 Rpol.
Calibrated amplitude and phase against time
(a priori amplitude calibration and fringe-fit solutions applied).
Comments.
Wb: Phase wrap 21:30-23:00.
On: Big phase offsets 16:40-17:00, phase wrap in IF2 Rpol.
Mc: Phase wrap 19:10-19:20, 03:40-04:00.
Jb: Large phase drifts.
Cm: Phase wrap IF1, large phase drifts.
Ur: Phase wrap 02:30-04:10.
Calibrated amplitude and phase against frequency channel.
Comments.
Ef(all baselines): Big spurs in IF2 Lpol 16:40-17:02.
Cm: Big spurs in IF1.
Phase corrections applied to a priori calibrated and fringe-fitted data by self-calibration.
Comments.
Jb, Cm: Phase wrap.
Amplitude corrections applied to a priori calibrated and fringe-fitted data by self-calibration.
Also available as a text file.
Comments.
On: High (up to 4) correction factors.
Ur, Mc: Small (down to 0.2) correction factors.
Telescope sensitivities (the total AMP gain applied during
both a priori and self calibration; the square of this number gives the antenna
noise (SEFD) in Jy).
Comments.
Ef, Wb: Agrees with the status table.
On: Lost most data in IF2 Rpol, others agree with the status table.
Mc: Down to 25% of those in the status table.
Tr: Up to 200% of those in the status table.
Cm: Lost most data in IF1s. Ur: Up to 250% of those in the status table in IF2s.
