General Comments.
(
Brief data summary and
scan listing.)
This project consists of 4 stations: Ef, Mc, On, Cm (Jb, Tr did not record data). Used 2-MHz 1 band x 1 Pol. with 2-bits sampling. 1024 spectral channels per IF. Ef is a reference antenna.
On: Linear polarization data.
ERI=0.30 (Ef=0.90, Mc=0.89, On=0.85, Cm=0.90, Jb=0.00, Tr=0.00) ERI*=0.40 (artificial errors only. The first 1 hour lost in the pipeline is taken into account. When excluding Jb and Tr, ERI*=0.91)
Plots of the autocorrelations.
Comments.
On: A spur at the center of the band in R&L.
Cm: Data lost 13:00-13:59. A spur at the center of the band in R&L.
Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against time.
Comments.
Calibrators were well detected.
Mc, Cm: Relatively rapid phase variation.
Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against frequency
channel.
Comments.
Calibrators were well detected with small phase gradients along frequency.
Cm: Occasionally a spur in LL.
The uncalibrated amplitude and phase of the crosshand
correlations against frequency channel.
Comments.
No data.
TSYS against time.
Comments.
Cm: Assumed to be 1 K.
Telescope sensitivities from the a priori TSYS and Gain
curves (the square of this number gives the antenna noise (SEFD) in Jy - the smaller the better).
Comments.
Ef: 20-50% of that in EVN status table. The gain is similar as that at 6-cm band.
Mc: About 80% of that in EVN status table.
On: About 300% of that in EVN status table.
Cm: Fixed at 1.0.
Fringe-fit phase solutions.
Comments.
Solutions with phase drifts are seen well.
Fringe-fit delay solutions.
Comments.
Mc: Offsets within ~20 nsec.
On: Offsets varied from ~-20 to 40 nsec.
Cm: Offsets within ~20 nsec.
Fringe-fit rate solutions.
Comments.
Offsets within 8 mHz.
Telescope bandpasses.
Comments.
Well determined in amp. and phase.
Calibrated amplitude and phase against time
(a priori amplitude calibration and fringe-fit solutions applied).
Comments.
Phase drifts still remains.
Calibrated amplitude and phase against frequency channel.
Comments.
Cm: Occasionally a spur in LL.
Phase corrections applied to a priori calibrated and fringe-fitted data by self-calibration.
Comments.
Amplitude corrections applied to a priori calibrated and fringe-fitted data by self-calibration.
Also available as a text file.
Comments.
Gain factors within 1.5.
Telescope sensitivities (the total AMP gain applied during
both a priori and self calibration; the square of this number gives the antenna
noise (SEFD) in Jy).
Comments.
Data lost 13:00-14:05 because only 3 telescopes were observed (4 telescopes observing are needed to obtain self-caliration solutions).
Eb: About 30% of that in EVN status table.
Mc:40-160% of that in EVN status table.
On: 100-600% of that in EVN status table.
Cm: Sensitivity estimation is not available in the automatic pipeline.
Residual closure phase (visibility closure phase with
model closure phase subtracted) for J2022+61.
Residual closure phase (visibility closure phase with
model closure phase subtracted) for J2202+42.
Residual closure phase (visibility closure phase with
model closure phase subtracted) for 3C286.
Comments.
J2022+61, 3C286: Variations of closure phases were found.
J2202+42: Roughly constant closure phases.
Calibrated visibilities and the source model of
J2022+61.
Calibrated visibilities and the source model of
J2202+42.
Calibrated visibilities and the source model of
3C286.
Comments.
Models are consistent only with observed phases. Inconsistency in the amplitudes will be due to uncalibrated gain of Cm.

J2022+61.
Calibrated visibilities against u,v distance for
J2202+42.
Calibrated visibilities against u,v distance for
3C286.
Comments.
3C286: ~100 mJy at 30M lambda.
J2022+61, J2202+42: Detected in the longest baselines.
