General Comments. ( Brief data summary and scan listing )
This is a Global phase-referencing experiment at 21cm, recorded at 256 Mbps (dual polarization, 4*8 MHz IFs, 2-bit sampling) on 4 March 2005. Participating stations were JB, WB, EF, ON, MC, NT, TR, UR, the VLA, Green Bank and Arecibo. The experiment was correlated in two passes. This page shows plots from the pipeline for the continuum pass (32 spectral channels per IF).

The EVN reliability indicator (ERI) for this experiment was ERI = 0.79 . ERI* = 0.85 . (JB=0.86, WB=1.0, EF=0.93, ON=0.85, MC=1.0, NT=0.85, TR=0.7, UR=1.0)

Plots of the autocorrelations .
Comments.
IF 3 apparently shows HI in most autocorrelations.
Torun has no data for RCP in IF2 due to problem with BBC#3.
Effelsberg autocorrelations for LCP in IF3 have been flagged due to a correlator problem.
Some RFI problems at most stations. There is a fairly persistent narrow spike in IF4 at Medicina (near 1428 MHz).

Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against time .
Comments.
Effelsberg was off source from UT 10:00 until 10:52 due to snow.
No fringes to Jodrell between 11:24 and 13:12 UT as the antenna was stowed due to high winds.
Onsala and Noto both have reduced sensitivity in IF2, LCP.
The first scan on 3C84 is outside of Westerbork's hour angle range.
Greenbank is missing for the last half-hour as data on the second tape was lost.

The uncalibrated amplitude and phase of the crosshand correlations against frequency channel .
Comments.

TSYS against time .
Comments.
Nominal sensitivity assumed for Arecibo.

Telescope sensitivities from the a priori TSYS and Gain curves (the square of this number gives the antenna noise (SEFD) in Jy - the smaller the better).
Comments.
VLA Tsys is really Tant/Tsys: a source flux density is required to calculate the gain, so 'SETJY' was run with ZEROSP=2,0 for the calibrator 0234+285. 0234+285 is variable, and the current flux density is not accurately known. The nominal value of 2 Jy was assumed to be the approximate flux density based on archival data. The gain corrections found during self-calibration are reasonably close to 1.
