General Comments. ( Brief data summary and scan listing )
GP047 had 9 stations, 8 16 MHz IFs, two polarizations, and used 16 frequency points per IF/pol, with 2s integrations. Considerably more information is included in the experiment's cover letter on the standard-plots portion of the EVN Archive. In the pipelining, the target source was not fringed. The SOLINT was set automatically at a representative length of a reference-source scan in a phase-reference cycle (60s). Ef was used as the reference station, with Gb as a secondary for the last part of the experiment when Ef had left the array.

The EVN reliability indicator (ERI) for this experiment was ERI = 0.967 . ERI* = 0.967 . The ERI was 0.967, with losses including Nt IF7-8/LCP. The ERI is computed from only the EVN stations (thus not including Gb).

TSYS against time

TY1 table, each IF/pol on a separate plot. Tsys in LCP channels of Jb much higher than in RCP channels (260-600 vs. 50-60). This is also consistent with the lower amplitudes seen in LCP compared to RCP in the standard plots (clearest in the amp vs. freq plots).


Telescope sensitivities from the a priori TSYS and Gain curves (the square of this number gives the antenna noise (SEFD) in Jy - the smaller the better).
