General Comments.
(
Brief data summary and
scan listing.)
This project consists of 4 telescopes: Mc, Cm, On, Mh (Ef, Nt did not participate, no fringe from Jb, Sh, Uh).
Only LCP was available in On.
Used 4-MHz 1 bands x 2 pols, with 2-bits sampling. Obtained 2 pairs of polarization (LL, RR) in 4-sec integration. 512 spectral channels per IF.
There are three passes: local frequences of 22236.61 MHz, 22233.39 MHz and 22233.56 MHz in 1st. 2nd and 3rd passes. This page is for 1st pass.
Mc is a reference antenna.
Self-calibration to obtain amplitude and phase solutions is invalid because of only available 3 telescopes in LL.
ERI=0.18 (through the whole observation, Mc=0.89, Cm=0.80, On=0.50, Mh=0.87, Jb=0.00, Sh=0.00, Ur=0.00). ERI*=0.18 (Artificial errors are taken into account rather than poor weather conditions, ERI*=0.72 if excluding Jb, Sh, Ur).
Plots of the autocorrelations.
Comments.
Jb: Bright spurs.
Mc, Cm, On: A weak spur.
Sh: Too high amplitude in the Rpol band edge.
Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against time.
Comments.
Fringes were detected among Mc-Cm-On-Mh.
Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against frequency
channel.
Comments.
Fringes were marginally detected among Mc-Cm-On-Mh with small phase gradients along frequency.
The uncalibrated amplitude and phase of the crosshand
correlations against frequency channel.
Comments.
No data.
TSYS against time.
Comments.
Only data for Mc, Cm, On, Mh, Ur and Sh are provided.
Cm: Tsys data are unavailable, set to Tsys=1.0 K.
Ur: High Tsys up to 330 K.
Sh: Data available only for first 10 min.
Telescope sensitivities from the a priori TSYS and Gain
curves (the square of this number gives the antenna noise (SEFD) in Jy - the smaller the better).
Comments.
Mc: About 160% of that in EVN status table.
Cm: Set to Gain=26.92.
On: About 200% of that in EVN status table.
Mh: About 120% of that in EVN status table.
Sh: Only 10% of that in EVN status table.
Ur, Jb: Not available.
Fringe-fit phase solutions.
Comments.
Mh: Lost solutions in LL. Only first 5 min had solutions in RR.
Fringe-fit delay solutions.
Comments.
Mc: Delay offsets clost to zero nsec.
Cm: Delay offsets around 10 nsec and -30 nsec in RR and LL, respectively.
Mh: Delay offsets around 24 nsec.
On: Delay offsets around 17 nsec.
Fringe-fit rate solutions.
Comments.
Mc, On: Rate offsets clost to zero mHz.
Cm: Rate offsets around -20 mHz.
Mh: Rate offsets around 6 mHz.
Telescope bandpasses.
Comments.
Smoothing is necessary.
Calibrated amplitude and phase against time
(a priori amplitude calibration and fringe-fit solutions applied).
Comments.
Fast phase drift disappeared, but phase wrap still remained.
Calibrated amplitude and phase against frequency channel.
Comments.
Phase offsets and gradients along frequency were removed.
Phase corrections applied to a priori calibrated and fringe-fitted data by self-calibration.
Comments.
Naturally weighted dirty map produced before self-cal of:
3C345.
Comments.
3C345: Marginally detected over 3rd contour (1.0 Jy/beam).
Uniformly weighted dirty map produced before self-cal of:
3C345.
Comments.
3C345: Marginally detected over 3rd contour (1.3 Jy/beam).
Amplitude corrections applied to a priori calibrated and fringe-fitted data by self-calibration.
Also available as a text file.
Comments.
Unavailable because of only 3 valid antennas.
Telescope sensitivities (the total AMP gain applied during
both a priori and self calibration; the square of this number gives the antenna
noise (SEFD) in Jy).
Comments.
Unavailable because of no self-calibration amplitude/phase solution.
Residual closure phase (visibility closure phase with model closure phase subtracted) for:
3C345.
Comments.
3C345: Roughly zero closure phases.
Calibrated visibilities and the source model of:
3C345.
Comments.
Unavailable.
Calibrated visibilities against u,v distance for:
3C345. postscript , png (smaller)
Comments.
3C345: Roughly constant at 3 Jy.
u,v coverage for:
3C345
postscript, png (smaller)
Comments.
3C345: Sparse distribtution up to 150M lambda.
Crude map of 3C345 from the pipeline.
Comments.
An unresolved core and weak side lobes.
