General Comments.
(
Brief data summary and
scan listing.)
This project consists of 7 telescopes: Mc, On, Mh, Jb, Nt, Ro, Cm (Ef did not participate). No fringe from Cm.
Only LCP was available in On and Ro.
There are two passes: 1st of IF1 and 2nd for IFs 1-4. This page is for 1st pass.
This pass consists of 7 telescopes: Mc, On, Mh, Jb, Nt, Ro, Cm.
Used 8-MHz 1 bands x 2 pols, with 2-bits sampling. Obtained 2 pairs of polarization (LL, RR) in 2-sec integration. 512 spectral channels per IF.
Mc is a reference antenna.
ERI=0.55 (Mc=1.00, On=0.50, Mh=0.87, Cm=0.00, Jb=0.92, Nt=1.00, Ro=0.30). ERI*=0.55 (Artificial errors only).

Comments.
On, Nt: A bright spur in R&Lpols.
Cm: A weak spur in R&Lpols.
Jb: Occasionally a weak spur in R&Lpols.
Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against time.
Comments.
Fringes were well detected, with phase wrap.
Cm: No fringe.
Ro: Only last 2 scans had fringes.
Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against frequency
channel.
Comments.
Fringes were detected with small phase gradients along frequency.
Mh: Steep phase gradient in LL 16:52-16:58.
Nt: A spur at the band center in RR&LL 15:01-17:49.
Ro: Extremely steep phase gradient.
The uncalibrated amplitude and phase of the crosshand
correlations against frequency channel.
Comments.
No data.
TSYS against time.
Comments.
Jb: Tsys up to 700 K in Rpol.
Telescope sensitivities from the a priori TSYS and Gain
curves (the square of this number gives the antenna noise (SEFD) in Jy - the smaller the better).
Comments.

On: About 200% of that in EVN status table.
Mh: About 120% of that in EVN status table.
Jb: About 450% of that in EVN status table.
Nt: 40-100% of that in EVN status table.
Ro: Roughly consistent with that in EVN status table.
Fringe-fit phase solutions.
Comments.

Mh: Lost solutions in RR 08:00-12:00.
Jb: Lost solutions in RR 15:00-18:30.
Ro: Lost solutions 08:00-13:00.
Fringe-fit delay solutions.
Comments.

On: Delay offsets of 16 nsec in average.
Mh: Delay offsets of 15 nsec and -10 nsec in average in RR and LL, respectively.
Jb: Delay offsets of -15 nsec and -6 nsec in average in RR and LL, respectively.
Nt: Delay offsets of 10 nsec and 22 nsec in average in RR and LL, respectively.
Ro: Delay offsets of 627 nsec (this is already applied in CL1).
Fringe-fit rate solutions.
Comments.
Typically within 3 mHz.
Telescope bandpasses.
Comments.
Bandpass amplitudes and phases were well determined.
Ro: Bandpass correction failed after several trial.
Calibrated amplitude and phase against time
(a priori amplitude calibration and fringe-fit solutions applied).
Comments.
Fast phase drift disappeared, sometimes phase wrap.
Ro: Phase offests still remained.
Calibrated amplitude and phase against frequency channel.
Comments.
Phase offsets and gradients along frequency were well removed.
Ro: Phase ripples.
Phase corrections applied to a priori calibrated and fringe-fitted data by self-calibration.
Comments.
Only LL plots are available. Solutions were well determined in 2 min.
