General Comments. ( Brief data summary and scan listing )
This is the continuum pass of EM064F (8 bands, 2 pols, each with 128 frequency points).
C band (5cm) line and continuum phase-referencing experiment, observed on 12 March 2009. The data rate was 128 Mbps (16 x 2 MHz subbands, dual polarization, two-bit sampling). The target source 'G24.78' was calibrated using the phase-reference source 'J1825-0737'. 'J1751+0939', 'J2101+0341' and 'J2253+1608' were also observed as fringe finders and calibrators. In this pipeline reduction, Ef served as reference antenna and as plot reference, i.e. the plots show baselines to Ef.
8 EVN stations participated in this experiment: Cm, Ef, Jb, Mc, Nt, On, Tr, and Wb. Due to the limitations of the microwave link, not all subbands of Cm were recorded. Ef was out for a pointing check at 05:43-05:55 UT. At Jb, the MkII telescope was used for these observations. Mc noted that the IF2 channel had less power than nominal. Nt reported problems with BBC #06 (= subbands 4+5/LCP = IFs 5+6(LL) ) throughout the experiment, leading to low amplitudes and a decreased sensitivity due to a very low fraction of high-bits in these channels. As usual at this frequency, a single antenna was used at Wb.

The EVN reliability indicator (ERI) for this experiment was ERI = 1.0 . ERI* = 1.0 . (Cm=1, Ef=1, Jb=1, Mc=1, Nt=1, On=1, Tr=1, Wb=1)

Plots of the autocorrelations
Comments.
Cm: valid data seem to be in subbands 0-5 (= IFs 1-6), IF7+8(RR) good, too? No, see next set of plots; some low-level RFI at all stations (except for Nt?); noisy bandpasses/spikes in Nt/IF2(RR), Wb/IF7+8(LL), Mc/IF3(RR) and Tr/IF3-6(LL); 222 pages

plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against time
Comments.
Cm: data look reasonable in IF1-6(LL) and IF1-6(RR), bad phases in IF7+8(RR); Nt: very noisy phases/phase jumps in IF5+6(LL), few data points at 08:00-09:00 UT in these channels; 32 pages

Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against frequency channel
Comments.
looking good: even without calibration, phases can be followed in the calibrators, noisy phases in Nt/IF5+6(LL); generally stable bandpasses, slight changes in amplitude probably due to small-scale structure; 214 pages

The uncalibrated amplitude and phase of the crosshand correlations against frequency channel (not available)
Comments.

TSYS against time
Comments.
looking very good! Cm: T_sys=1 (microwave link); Nt: T_sys in RCP significantly higher than in LCP, T_sys for IF5+6(L) missing; 13 pages

Telescope sensitivities from the a priori TSYS and Gain curves (the square of this number gives the antenna noise (SEFD) in Jy - the smaller the better).
Comments.
looking very good (compare to "TSYS against time"); 13 pages

Fringe-fit phase solutions (including Parallactic Angle correction).
Comments.
refant=Ef, drift in Ef phases reflects the parallactic angle correction; looking ok; Cm: rather fast phase drift; Wb, Jb, Mc, Nt, Tr: check IF5(R) at ~05:45-05:55 UT; Nt: check IF1(R) at 05:30-06:00 UT and IF6(R) at ~05:45-05:55 UT; 13 pages

Fringe-fit delay solutions
Comments.
refant=Ef; delays of the order of (a few) tens of nanoseconds, larger for some subbands of Cm; very few outliers (IF5(R)); 13 pages

Fringe-fit rate solutions
Comments.
refant=Ef; looking fine; rates of the order of a few milliHertz; very few outliers (IF5(R)); 13 pages

Telescope bandpasses
Comments.
looking good; 2 pages

Calibrated amplitude and phase against time (a priori amplitude calibration and fringe-fit solutions applied).
Comments.
looking good; Cm: good phases in IF1-6(LL) and IF1-6(RR); Nt: IFs 5+6(LL) missing (see above); 32 pages

Calibrated amplitude and phase against frequency channel
Comments.
looking good: calibrator phases close to zero, stable bandpasses; some slight changes in amplitude with time, probably due to small-scale structure; Nt: IFs 5+6(LL) missing (see above); 214 pages
