General Comments. ( Brief data summary and scan listing )
L-band NME observed on 20 Feb. 2004 (session 1/2004). This experiment was recorded at 512 Mbps using 1-bit sampling to test wide band setups at the stations. Dual polarisation, 128 MHz bandwidth. Disk recording failed in Jodrell Bank. The problem affected only the two headstacks experiments (mainly NMEs) during the session. In Wb the most upper channels were not locked in this experiment, but in principle up to 160 MHz bandwidth should be available. In Cm a bad track was remapped to a system track. Because of various constraints, this experiment had more than usual playback problems. The affected correlator jobs were not redone. The data losses due to poor playback which seemed to be correlator related were not taken into account in the ERI estimation below. The ratio of the expected to the observed number of good visibilities is estimated as ERI = 0.571 (Ef=0.6, Mc=0.5/0.5 (known IF limitation), Jb=0.0, Wb=0.66, On=1.0, Nt=1.0, Ur=1.0, Sh=0.375/0.375 (only LCP expected; known IF limitation), Hh=1.0, Tr=0.75, Cm=0.04/0.12 (only ~14 MHz/polarisation expected)).

Note that because the 1-bit Van Vleck correction was not applied at the correlator, the amplitudes are low by a factor of 2/pi.
