General Comments. ( Brief data summary and scan listing )
M band (6 GHz) network monitoring experiment (NME) and low sample rate test, observed on 30 October 2007. The data rate of the first part (NME) was 256 Mbps (8 X 8 MHz subbands, dual polarization, two-bit sampling). The data rate of the second part (test) was 16 Mbps (4 X 1 MHz subbands, dual polarization, two-bit sampling). The following plots and comments refer to the first part, i.e. the NME. The target source '1222+037' was calibrated using the phase-reference source '3C273B'. '3C273B' also served as the fringe finder.
9 stations participated. In Westerbork, a single dish was used during the experiment. Cambridge reported swapped polarizations throughout the experiment and that the formatter was out of synch until 09:39 UT. No fringes to Cambridge were found for any time of the experiment, even when accounting for mixed-up polarizations. The baselines to Torun show strong cross-pols. Three stations had problems with disk2file (see Station Feedback), which impeded the close-to-real-time system check for these stations.

The EVN reliability indicator (ERI) for this experiment was ERI = 0.76 . ERI* = 0.76 . (CM=0, EF=0.98, WB=0.96, JB=1, ON=1, MC=0.96, NT=1, TR=1, HH=1)

plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against time
Comments.

Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against frequency channel
Comments.
a few bad scans (phase can not be followed) at the following stations: Jb scan# 53-56 (10:12-10:22 UT), On scan# 55-56 (10:17-10:22 UT), Hh scan# 63, probably 62 and 64, too (10:39-10:44 UT); 247 pages

The uncalibrated amplitude and phase of the crosshand correlations against frequency channel
Comments.
Jb, On, Hh: scans mentioned above are bad in the crosshand correlations, too; Tr: high amplitude of crosshand correlations throughout the experiment, amplitude ratio crosshand/parallel-hand ~1; 136 pages

TSYS against time
Comments.
Cm, Jb, On, Mc, Tr, Hh: T_sys set to 1 because of missing antab file; nothing unexpected detected; 8 pages

Telescope sensitivities from the a priori TSYS and Gain curves (the square of this number gives the antenna noise (SEFD) in Jy - the smaller the better).
Comments.
nothing unexpected detected; 8 pages

Fringe-fit phase solutions (including Parallactic Angle correction).
Comments.
nothing unexpected detected; 7 pages

Fringe-fit delay solutions
Comments.

Fringe-fit rate solutions
Comments.
nothing unexpected detected; 7 pages

Telescope bandpasses
Comments.

Comments.
nothing unexpected detected; 32 pages

Calibrated amplitude and phase against frequency channel
Comments.
no WB(LL) at 10:12-10:24:30 UT (scan# 53-57); significant residual phases in the following (calibrator) scans at the following stations: Ef(all subbands) scan# 23 (08:40-08:42 UT), Jb(all subbands) scan# 53-55 (10:12-10:19 UT), On(all subbands) scan# 55 (10:17-10:19 UT), Hh(all subbands) scan# 63 (10:39-10:41 UT) (see also uncalibrated scans); the following subbands have consistently lower amplitudes than the other subbands: Wb(1R), Wb(2R), Jb(3L), Jb(4L); Tr(3L) and Tr(4L) also slightly lower; 205 pages
