General Comments.
(
Brief data summary
and
scan listing
)
This is an EVN-only spectral-line experiment at 5cm (dual polarisation, 2 IFs). Participating stations were Ef, Jb (Mark2), Cm, Mc, On, Tr and Ar. No fringes were detected from Mc (although the data were correlated). The reference antenna for calibration and plotting was Ef. The EVN reliability indicator was ERI=0.40 (Ef=1.0, Jb=0.75, Cm=1.0, Mc=0.0, On=1.0, Tr=0.5, Ar=0.37) in this experiment. ERI gives you an estimate of the ratio of observed/good visibilities to the expected number visibilities. ERI* is the same but excludes data lost due to circumstances out of the EVN's control e.g. bad weather (ERI*=0.40).
Plots of the autocorrelations
.
Comments.
Mc: Although correlated, I flagged all data from this telescope as is just noise.
Cm: RFI.
Ar: No data in IF1.
Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against time
.
Comments.
First scan (3C345) is missing.
Jb: no fringes in IF2, LCP.
Tr: only present for last two scans.
Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against frequency
channel
.
Comments.
None.
The uncalibrated amplitude and phase of the crosshand
correlations against frequency channel

.
Comments.
n/a.
TSYS against time
.
Comments.
No Tsys for Cm or Ar.
Infrequent Tsys for Jb.
Telescope sensitivities
from the a priori TSYS and Gain curves (the square of this
number gives the antenna noise (SEFD) in Jy - the smaller the better).
Comments.
Gain values generally agree with those on the EVN status table.
Cm, Ar: no Tsys and so nominal gain value is used.
Tr: Tsys in second IF are very much higher than in IF1. IF1 values are okay.
Fringe-fit phase solutions
(including Parallactic Angle correction).
Comments.
None.
Fringe-fit delay solutions
.
Comments.
Solutions are very noisy.
Fringe-fit rate solutions
.
Comments.
Rates are reasonable.
Telescope bandpasses
.
Comments.
None.
Calibrated amplitude and phase against time
(a priori amplitude calibration and fringe-fit solutions applied).
Comments.
Fringe-fit has been mostly successful in calibrating the phases.
Calibrated amplitude and phase against frequency channel
.
Comments.
Bandpass is overcorrecting at high channel numbers.

Comments.
Many of the solutions for J1850+2825 and J1925+2106 are significantly lower than unity.
Telescope sensitivities
(the total AMP gain applied during
both a priori and self calibration; the square of this number gives the antenna
noise (SEFD) in Jy).
Comments.
Jb, Tr: sensitivities now much closer to nominal value.

Comments.
Short duration of experiment renders uv coverage poor for all sources.
