General Comments.
(
Brief data summary and
scan listing.)
This project consists of 6 stations: On, Wb, Mc, Eb, Jb and Tr. The Jb telescope was the Mk2 for the first half of the experiment (AIPS code JB) and the Lovell for the second half (AIPS code JV). Used 4 8-MHz bands x 2 Pol. with 2-bit sampling. Eb is the reference antenna. Note that the length of the experiment (36 hours) and the rate of Tsys delivery at Wb has produced too many Tsys points for AIPS to handle. Therefore the original antab file has been modified and every other Tsys measurement removed. It has also been altered to split the original single Jb list into two, one each for JB and JV. Recall that On missed the first ~5 hours. Highest channel of Tr in RR (BBC7) is dead. No Tsys from Tr either. ERI=0.50 (On=0.86, Wb=0.76, Mc=1.0, Eb=0.99, Jb=0.94, Tr=0.85), ERI*=0.91 (technical problems only).
Plots of the autocorrelations.
Comments.
Very occasional dodgy bandpasses, in usually only a single channel of the four, on most telescopes - have appearance of spike and associated ringing.
Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against time.
Comments.
On: begins late.
Eb: dead data at 0/22.5 hours - all channels.
Wb: dead data at 0/18, 0/19.5 and 1/7-8 hours - all channels. Several gaps, biggest at 0/13-18 hours.
Tr: IF4, RR dead.
Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against frequency
channel.
Comments.
500 plots!!!
Occasional dropouts of telescopes for single scans is fairly common.
Jb (Mk2): intermittent signal in IF2, LL.
Tr: IF4, RR dead.
The uncalibrated amplitude and phase of the crosshand
correlations against frequency channel.
Comments.
No data.
TSYS against time.
Comments.
Wb: Too many Tsys points for AIPS (here at JIVE at any rate) to cope with (~10 000). The antab file was therefore edited, alternate measurements being deleted.
Tr: No Tsys measurements.
Telescope sensitivities from the a priori TSYS and Gain
curves (the square of this number gives the antenna noise (SEFD) in Jy - the smaller the better).
Comments.
All telescopes have the expected performance according to EVN status table.

Calibrated amplitude and phase against time
(a priori amplitude calibration and fringe-fit solutions applied).
Comments.
More dead data visible due to zeroing of phases, on Tr especially.
Calibrated amplitude and phase against frequency channel.
Comments.
20% lower amplitude in IF2 on Eb-Wb and Eb-Jb baselines (LL).
Edge channels on JV haven't been flagged - apologies!
Phase corrections applied to a priori calibrated and fringe-fitted data by self-calibration.

Amplitude corrections applied to a priori calibrated and fringe-fitted data by self-calibration.
Also available as a text file.
Comments.
Reasonable solutions, almost all within 50% of unity. One exception is IF4 of JB at 0/17-18 hours.
Telescope sensitivities (the total AMP gain applied during
both a priori and self calibration; the square of this number gives the antenna
noise (SEFD) in Jy).
Comments.
Scale can be hard to read due to discrepant amplitude solutions.

3C286: very poor map. This is the only source with obvious dead data in the UVPLT.
