General Comments.
(
Brief data summary and
scan listing.)
This project consists of 6 stations: Eb, Wb, Mc, Nt, Tr, On (data from Jb were lost). Used 8-MHz 4 bands x 2 Pols. with 2-bits sampling. Mc is a reference antenna (most successfully operated).
Tr: Data in IF4 were lost (not sure why).
ERI=0.60 (Eb=0.97, Wb=0.98, Jb=0.00, Mc=0.97, Nt=0.92, Tr=0.75, On=0.94) ERI*=0.60 (artificial errors only).
IMPORTANT NOTE: This project lost a significant amount of data due to
blanking in the ANTAB file. Amplitude calibration should be repeated with the
new ANTAB file on VLBEER, and not the CL table provided by the pipeline.
Plots of the autocorrelations.
Comments.
Wb: A spur IF2 RR&LL.
On: A spur IF4 LL.
Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against time.
Comments.
Phase wrap 17:20-17:35, 18:20-18:35. Rapid phase drifts Eb-Tr.
Plots of the uncalibrated amplitude and phase against frequency
channel.
Comments.
Tr: Occasionally low amplitudes IF4 RR&LL.
The uncalibrated amplitude and phase of the crosshand
correlations against frequency channel.
Comments.
No data.
TSYS against time.
Comments.
Eb: No data to 17:20, sparse data. Tr: Occasionally jumps in Tsys values.
Telescope sensitivities from the a priori TSYS and Gain
curves (the square of this number gives the antenna noise (SEFD) in Jy - the smaller the better).
Comments.
Eb: Roughly consistent with that in EVN status table.
Wb: About 120% of that in EVN status table.
Mc: 100%-150% of that in EVN status table.
Tr: Roughly consistent with that in EVN status table.
On: 210%-280% of that in EVN status table.
Fringe-fit phase solutions.
Comments.
Phase solutions are well determined. Clear phase drifts are found.
Fringe-fit delay solutions.
Comments.
Eb: Offset of -18 nsec in average.
Wb: Offset of 10 nsec in average.
Nt: Offset of 22 nsec in average.
Tr: Offset of 20 nsec in average.
On: Offset of -13 nsec in average.
Fringe-fit rate solutions.
Comments.
Rates are within 2 mHz in all telescopes.
Telescope bandpasses.
Comments.
No problem.
Calibrated amplitude and phase against time
(a priori amplitude calibration and fringe-fit solutions applied).
Comments.
Phase wrap still appears ocassionally.
Calibrated amplitude and phase against frequency channel.
Comments.
Banspass is well calibrated. Sometimes sources are not detected.
Phase corrections applied to a priori calibrated and fringe-fitted data by self-calibration.
Comments.
Amplitude corrections applied to a priori calibrated and fringe-fitted data by self-calibration.
Also available as a text file.
Comments.
Gain factors are within 2.
Telescope sensitivities (the total AMP gain applied during
both a priori and self calibration; the square of this number gives the antenna
noise (SEFD) in Jy).
Comments.
Eb: 80%-180% of that in EVN status table.
Wb: Roughly consistent with that in EVN status table.
Mc: Roughly consistent with that in EVN status table.
Nt: 70%-110% of that in EVN status table.
Tr: 100%-160% of that in EVN status table.Occasionally jumps in sensitivity.
On: About 260% of that in
