General Comments. ( Brief data summary and scan listing )
N05L3 was an L-Band Network Monitoring Experiment, combined with a series of test observations for ionospheric calibration. J2148+0657 was observed for FTP fringe testing. Other bright calibrator sources were observed in a phase-referencing style mode to test ionospheric calibration techniques.
Observed on 2005 June 06
256 Mb s^{-1}, 4x8 MHz subbands, dual polarization, 0.5 s integrations, cross polarizations included
Tr, Torun: BBC\# 3 was unlocked all the time, resulting in loss of data. Used Rubidium frequency standard, because the H-maser was sent to the manufacturer for refurbishment.
Ef, Effelsberg: MkIV formatter broke during ES054B, and N05L3 was recorded with the VLBA terminal on tape. Problems with frequency differences resulted in the PI deciding to not correlate Effelsberg.
Mc, Medicina: Recorded scans only from 40 to the end.
Nt, Noto: On June 4 at about 23:00 UT one of the azimuth engines failed. Noto was not operational during N05L3.
